DY 52A for sale
Complete restoration by myself, Jonny Trevail.
Apart from the hull which has extensive work and complete paint by professional boatbuilder, this yawl has had;
New Selden tapered masts, booms and rigging pack.
All new deck fittings,
New Ullmans Sails,
New running rigging, toe-straps.
New composite sole boards.
New timber capping’s, thwart, bowsprit and rubbing strakes.
New Whale manual pump.
New adjustable outboard mount.
Everything else needed to complete this boat to a high quality finish.
We have used it for 1 season.

Built in 1979.
It is a one owner boat last used by me in 1985. only replaced by a heavier day boat as I was sailing out of Whitby in North Yorkshire.
All the sails, spars and removable parts have been stored indoors.
The boat is on a sturdy home built trailer standing outside covered by tarpaulin.

DY 76 ‘Bobbie’
DY76 was built by Devon Craft Ltd, Salcombe in 1973 and remained in the same family for 50 years. Somewhat neglected in her later years she was fully refurbished and relaunched in 2023 and has enjoyed sailing again in Poole Harbour.
Light blue hull with cream decks. Slate grey antifoul with a white boot top line
Original aluminium rudder with wooden stock and tiller
Original main mast and boom and an adapted Enterprise mast cut to DY class rules as a mizzen
Sanders Sails are in good condition, assessed as being approximately 10 years old. The jib is on a new Lewmar roller furler.
All woodwork including the new bowsprit is well-oiled with Deks Olje
Side tanks are dry and fitted with inspection hatches. There is a Holt buoyancy bag under the foredeck

Air bags now fill buoyancy cavities. Foam removed. Holt bow and stern floatation bags.
2x Whale bilge pumps discharge into centreplate housing case. Facilitates upwind pumping.
Bronze keel band with Mylar strip slot gasket.
2.5 HP 2 stroke on originally fitted removable transom mount.
Grapple anchor warps and fenders.
