What we do
The DYA’s core objectives are:
- To send members a newsletter once a year, around Christmas
- To maintain an up to date and effective website
- To remember that for many members sailing the Class is for simple pleasure and not for racing
- To police and review the Class Rules thus enabling the Class to be raced as a one design
- To maintain good relations with the Class builder/s
- To continue the Class presence at the Dinghy Show in the spring of each year
- To organise a national championship once a year
- To maintain a “Boats for sale” register
